We’ve been using the Self-regulation Pedal Desk in our elementary school for a little over a year and it has helped students with behavioral tendencies to calm down, release any tension and do their school work. Many of the students enjoy increasing the resistance on the bike. They feel strong and energized afterwards. The cruiser has helped multiple students regulate emotions throughout the year and it’ll continue to help even more!

Our students love to "Read & Ride" on the bikes. The bikes are the most popular feature in our library, and students will do almost anything to get a "golden ticket" to "Read & Ride" for a few minutes.

“You are doing exercise and working on here… so your brain is focusing on this instead of your brain kind of running all around.”
-Noah, a student in Mrs. Clifford’s grade 2 and 3 class
Sometimes I just need to move for a few minutes. I put the resistance way up and just go for it. Then I come back to class and I can manage my body better.

“There are a lot of flexible seating options out there, but not many that allow your students to exercise and learn at the same time. I also noticed that after a ride on the Classroom Pedal Desk, my students were more on-task and productive. I’m not sure who loves it more, my students or me!”
-Kristina Zucchino, 4th grade teacher, Greensboro, NC
The Self-regulation Classroom Cruiser has been a great addition to our classroom. Students use it to self-regulate. Often after recess, the bike is a popular go-to spot as sometimes transitioning from free time to learning can be a little challenging. Students will often head over to the bike with a book, or earphones on and pedal away for a few minutes in order to refocus.
